Life can feel stuck when intense anxiety, depression or the effects of trauma get in the way. What may seem easy for others can feel impossible or even terrifying. I help people make meaningful changes by working with them to better connect with their internal world—how they think, feel and relate to themselves, others and the world around them. It’s not only about becoming more aware of what’s going on inside, but also learning how to face, process and respond to those feelings in a way that feels manageable and empowering. Through this process, new choices and ways of living become clearer, and making those choices feels more within reach.
It's a process of integrating parts of yourself that may feel at odds, learning to manage emotions that currently feel intolerable, and finding new ways to break through patterns that seem confusing, self-defeating or hard to escape. At its core, I think therapy is about learning to accept and love who you are, who you’re not, and embracing what it means to be a human being.
The process itself looks different for everyone, and I approach each client’s journey with flexibility and curiosity, meeting you where you are at, moment to moment. I work with adults, teens, couples and families to help navigate life’s challenges and uncertainties.
